How to grow Plumeria or from seed: 1. Wet the Frangipani Seeds for the germination process by placing the seeds between the moistened tissue paper. Leave it for 24 hours in a warm environment. You will notice that the thicker part of the seed will swell and be ready for sowing. 2. You can prepare your own potting mix or buy it ready-made from the nursery. If you don't use these cultivation pots often, you can save money by reusing or recycling empty 0.12 gallon (500 ml) mineral bottles. Cut two thirds of the bottle and use the bottom third. Make a hole in the bottom and, once cleaned, your cultivation pot is ready to use. 3. Moisten the peat moss (or potting mix) and make a small hole in the mixture.Gently push the plumeria seeds about 0.2 inches (5 mm) into the mixture. Make sure the swollen tip is at the bottom and the seed wing is at the top. Let this part of the wing stick out of the ground. Gently press the soil into the sides of the plumeria seeds. 4. Place these pots in empty plastic containers and cover them to create a mini greenhouse effect. Place it in a warm, bright place, but not in full sun. Do not let the soil dry, if it looks dry, immediately water it with water 5. Depending on the freshness of the seeds, it can take from seven days to more than a month to germinate. It does require a lot of patience in planting seeds.
