A versatile wood section designed for use in various crafting activities, home improvement, furniture building, and installation projects. A flexible, versatile, precious species. Works well with both machine and hand tools. Accepts wood glue well, making for tight bonding. Excellent nail and screw holding capacity. Will not warp. Fine grain, easy to work with. Rich red-brown color deepens with age. Small dark gum flecks add to its interest. Distinctive, unique figures and grains. Finish is satiny to the touch. Wood grain and color may vary from images. Requires sanding sealer coat prior to staining. Milled size, after smoothing, is 0.5" x 1.5".
