Our Nepali TGFOP black tea (Camellia sinensis) and cayenne pepper (Capsicum annuum) blend herbal infusion tea bags are made using the finest quality raw ingredients, which are sealed inside bleach-free filter paper to create a truly 100% natural infusion. They are made to order and presented in environmentally friendly, black Kraft paper packaging, which is heat sealed and comes complete with a 'tin tie' to help seal in their freshness. Our Nepalese black tea comes from the Jun Chiyabari tea garden, a family run estate in the Dhankuta district of Nepal. With Mt. Everest looming in the distance to the north and the lowland Terai jungles south, cooling mountain mists meet the warmer southern air to create a unique microclimate which the tea thrives on. Comparable to top Darjeeling tea it has a delicious muscatel flavour but also, due to the cooler conditions, is invariably light and aromatic. TGFOP, which stands for ‘Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe’, is a high-quality grade given to finished teas based on the quality and condition of the leaves. Brewing Suggestions: Use 1 tea bag per cup and infuse for 5 - 7 minutes, or to individual taste, using freshly boiled water.
