Catnip is, as its name suggests, the herb of choice for cats. Leaves are triangular-ovate with a heart-shaped base, sharp, coarse, pubescent. The fruit is a brown elliptical smooth nut. Catnip blooms in June - July. The fruits ripen in July - August.
