Known for its briny undertones and vegetal flavors, Gyokuro is a perfect complement for light meals of steamed fish and vegetables. Our Gyokuro green tea demonstrates both Japanese ingenuity and artistry. Cultivated using techniques developed in the 1800s, young Gyokuro is grown in shade for 20 days in early spring and the painstakingly plucked to harvest individually selected leaves. Its slightly salty undertones and astringency highlight both the Gyokuro’s flavor and the high quality of its cultivation.
