This is a rare Campo Del Cielo mini meteorite fragment that has been wrapped in a stainless steel cage The Campo Del Cielo are a group of iron meteorites that fell roughly 600 miles north west of Buenos Aires Argentina between 4,000 and 5,000 years ago. The crater field covers an area of 2 x 11.5 miles and over 100 tons of material have been recovered from 26 distinct crater sites, making it possibly the heaviest meteorite to have ever been recovered. This piece comes with an 18" faux leather necklace in black. We can create a larger necklace, or lengthen the extensions on the necklace as needed, just let us know in the notes.
