This is a historic-themed 12 x 18" poster printed on brown kraft paper. The poster, designed by Shane Speal, features a photo of the famous Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band, a group of yound New Orleans street performers from the late 1800's and early 1900's. Playing their wild "spasm" music in brothels and on street corners on a rag-tag collection of cigar box guitars and other homemade instruments, this band of musicians actually played a roll in the origins of Jazz music - the first known use of the term "jazzy" in print to describe a musical performance was in reference to this very group! This poster was designed to reflect the style of that earlier time, and all of the known names of Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band members are listed on in: Emile "Stale Bread" Lacoume, Harry Gregson, Emile "Whiskey" Benrod, Willie "Cajun" Bussey, Frank "Monk" Bussey, "slew-foot" Pete, "Warm Gravy", and a singer known only as "Family Haircut". At the bottom of the poster is the famous New Orleans motto: "Laissez les bon temps roulez" - let the good times roll. This inexpensive poster is a perfect decoration for your workshop, man cave or music room. Designed and printed in the USA!
