An elephant is guided by Indians. Lloyd triestino (1919 until 2006), originally founded as osterreichischer Lloyd, is a shipping company with its head office in Trieste, Italy. To promote the business, an early form of advertisement used by shipping companies was posters, hanging in public places (railroad Stations, trams and buses, travel agents' shops, etc.) and on walls. They hired talented artists such as Marcello Dudovich (1878 -1962). Marcello Dudovich was one of the most acclaimed commercial artists of art, prints and posters during his time. He attended the Royal school in his hometown, Trieste.
