Burnet Herb (known as great burnet or burnet bloodwort) grows in North America, North Africa, Canary Islands and in many parts of Europe. It is also found in Asia. Burnet Herb is used as an ingredient in fines herbes, a mixture of herbs commonly used in French cuisine. Burnet leaves are used to flavour cream cheese and also added to tomato sauce, like basil or oregano. To prepare an infusion, pour 250 ml of boiling water per 1 tsp and leave it to infuse for 10-15 minutes. After this time, strain the infusion and drink while it's warm.
