I did this banner in a more rustic style. I used 4x4 inch brown chipboard. I antiqued the edges with black ink. I permanently attached the white card stock letters to the pieces. I used a Santa red acrylic paint when I hand stamped the beautiful swirls. I used a Christmas green ribbon for the ribbon and bows and added red satin bows as well. I love the traditional and rustic colors look of this banner. It's not too much so that it will work with many different styles of decor. .
