To honor my Grandpa Natale Rossi!!! Buon Natale!!! This banner would look great on your mantle of course but also on your wall or even bookshelf or staircase. I'm going to hang mine on the inside of my front bay window for all to see! This would also make a lovely Christmas gift for that hard to buy for person. Here is another idea for this banner: If you want to you could use the of excess ribbon at each end to hang your Christmas cards on. VERY cute idea. Buon Natale!!!! I did this banner very traditional. I used 4x4 inch white chipboard. I antiqued the edges with black ink. I hand stamped the holly stamps with holly green acrylic paint and then hand painted a little gold leaf on the berries and on the first and last letters!! I used a Santa red acrylic paint when I hand stamped the letters. Note the flaws in the stamping process-that's what gives these banners their vintage look and feel. I used a holly green ribbon for the ribbon and bows and added gold satin bows as well. I love the traditional/vintage colors and the total look of this banner. It's not too much so that it will work with many different styles of decor. .
