CLASSIC 1996 AC/DC SHOW FROM THE ARGENTINIAN CAPITAL Released in September 1995, AC/DC s 13th studio album Ballbreaker was something of a return to form. Their first album since 1983 s Flick Of the Wrist to feature drummer Phil Rudd, and with legendary American producer and full-on AC/DC fan Rick Rubin behind the desk, the record picked up numerous favourable reviews. On January 12th 1996, AC/DC began the Ballbreaker World Tour in Greensboro, North Carolina, and concluded the jaunt 11 months later on 30th November, in Christchurch, New Zealand. Taking in 155 shows across three continents, it featured the biggest gigs the group had ever played. On 18th and 19th October the group performed at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires for two of the tour s best attended concerts. This CD features the broadcast recording transmitted live from their second night in the Argentinian capital, thought by many to be the finest gig AC/DC played during this lengthy world tour.
