Bootlegger Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee Whole Bean

King of Clubs's Bootlegger Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee We pair bourbon from distilleries like Jim Beam, Virginia Distillery, and Copper Fox with organic, fair trade Colombian coffee. We use freshly dumped oak barrels, usually acquired from a distillery that has recently finished using it in their production process, and pour green, unroasted coffee into it. We seal the barrel, and over the course of the next several weeks, we rotate the barrel every other day to ensure even aging and maximize contact between the beans and the bourbon soaked oak. During this time, the bean soaks up the bourbon and develops its aroma and juices. When the aging process is over, we freshly roast to perfection!
