Damar Spray Varnish acts as a final protective coat once the oil paint has dried fully (usually 6 to 12 months). Apply to dry oil paintings to enhance color with an even gloss. Dries quickly. It produces a uniform high gloss waterproof finish that protects paintings from dirt, dust or moisture. It is made with the finest grade Singapore Damar Gum from a light color and top quality that resists blush, bloom and cracking. Bob Ross Damar is transparent and clear when applied, though pale yellow in concentrated form. Bob Ross Damar Varnish is easily removed with turpentine when necessary to clean or restore a painting.
