These rustic earrings are created by hand from copper wire, gold-plated copper jewelry wire and irregular round recycled glass beads. These beads are fairly shiny with uneven indigo blue coloring. Layers of "messy look" fine gauge copper and gold-plated jewelry wire are wrapped into a tapering design. A very dark patina was hand applied to the copper, buffed and polished for that boho, rustic look. The metals are sealed with a professional jewelry sealer to protect the finish. These earrings are about 2" long. They have surgical steel ear wires with gold plated accents, so they are a good choice for those with metal allergies and sensitive skin.
