Documentary tracking the fortunes of several drastically different student boxers in the run up to the spectacular and highly charged Oxford vs. Cambridge Varsity Boxing Match. A fine-artist, astrophysicist, mathematician, biochemist and philosopher all realise that a sharpened pencil and straight A's are of little use when the gloves are on and the fists fly. As the final bell rings and the winner's arm is raised, its clear that Blue Blood is much less a story of toffs and geeks having a pop at each other, than charmingly self aware men in search of greatness.
