Black Horehound is a native plant to the Mediterranean region and to central Asia and has a very strong characteristic smell. The plant is also called Marrubium nigrum, Black Stinking Horehound, Stinking Roger and Fetid Hoarhound, also often referred to as Har, Hune, Seed of Horus. Black Horehound has a long tradition in herbalism. To prepare a tea, add 1-2 tsp of Black Horehound Herb to 1 cup (200 ml) of boiling water and let it steep for 10-15 minutes before straining. You can add some milk, stevia or lemon juice to make the taste more pleasant.
