It is high quality Bincho charcoal made from Japanese Kishu oak, manufactured by skilled craftmen. They cut japanese oak to the appropriate length, burnt them for 15 to 20 days at a high temperature of 1000 degrees in a special kiln. This is special way to burn wood with less smoke and almost odorless. Once finish burning, they carefully pick only those which have the perfect shape. Cut them to adjust the length, polish the surface and clean, and pack them in a clean opp bag.
