MICROWAVE: Combine water and farina in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for one minute. Stir, then microwave for additional 1 to 2 minutes, until cereal begins to thicken. Watch carefully to prevent from boiling over. Remove from microwave and stir before serving. COOKING: Heat water to boiling. Add farina slowly, stirring constantly. For creamier cereal, combine farina and water before cooking.
