Truform-OTC brand (model 0836) ventilated below knee (BK) stump shrinker with silicone band. Typically used to reduce or control swelling in the residual limb of a new below knee amputee patient by applying circular compression. The compression should be greatest at the distal end of the stump and gradually lessen toward the thigh. Sized by circumferences at the distal end of the residual limb and at 6" above the bend of the knee. Available Sizes X-Small (up to 12.25 inches), Small (up to 13.5 inches), Medium (up to 14.5 inches), Large (15.75 inches), X-Large (up to 17 inches), and 2X-Large (up to 18 inches). Available in 8, 10, 12, and 14 inches in length.
