Airlaid paper is a cellulose textile material.
- Airlaid is denser, perforated and soft than normal paper which is made by putting it in water.
- It can absorb liquid at high altitude and is stronger than normal paper.
Unlike normal paper production, water is not used as an intermediate in Airlaid paper.
- In Airlaid, the fibres are transported by air to form the structure of the paper.
- The airborne structure is isotropic.
