Behind the Shallow Mind

Behind The Shallow Mind is an intriguing and action packed story of friendship, betrayal, love and deceit. Drake, a Detroit urban media salesman, accidentally rescues a young woman, Terri, from a group of robbers while she is collecting numbers for her mother’s neighborhood lottery business. Drake(Jason Wimberly) and Terri become more than friends. Drake then assists Terri(Sharmaine Nicholson) with her street lottery hustle and their numbers business thrives. However, Drake’s childhood friend, Lovell(Iken Jackson), becomes jealous of the relationship and of the success of their business. Drake is forced to choose between his new love and his best friend. Someone gets hurt which leads Detroit homicide investigators to knocking on doors.
