HOW TO USE AND STEPS: 1. OPEN THE HANDLE Press the top right hand corner of the tool. You can also pull out the bottom of the handle on the bottom right hand side of the tool. you should feel the handle click into place when it is all the way out. 2. POSITION THE TOOL ON CAN Place the tool flat on the can, ensuring that none of the blades are resting on the can tab. Gently press the tool down and lightly squeeze the handle to grab the can. By squeezing you should be able to pick the can up with just the tool. 3. GRAB THE CAN While holding the tool with one hand, use the other hand to grab the can by either gripping towards the top or bottom where it is most rigid. 4. SQUEEZE HANDLE AND ROTATE CAN Squeeze the handle until you feel it start to flex. Maintain a consistent squeezing force and begin to rotate the can. Don't muscle it! It does not take as much squeezing force as you think and you should be able to easily rotate the can. 5. CONTINUE ROTATING CAN Rotate the can at least one half turn until you hear a series of *Cracks* and then a *Pop* (search on YouTube!). Those noises indicate the top has been cut. 6. PUSH IN LID To remove the tool, open the handle all the way (See Step 1) so the blades aren't grabbing the can. Rest one of the notches in the handle on the rim of the can and slowly rock in the lid. The lid can then be left attached or removed entirely.
