A great mix of different varieties of basil that is great for growing indoors. The mix contains several types of green basil, lemon, anise, and purple. Tastes range from classic to aniseed, clove, bay, nutmeg, and pepper. Used in cooking in fresh, dried, and frozen form. Basil also helps to regulate metabolism. Sow seeds in 6 to 10-inch pots or a window box planter, filled with well-drained and nutrient-rich soil.  Be sure that your pot has drainage holes in the bottom. The soil should be moist, but not soggy. Make grooves with a depth of 0,2 inches and sow seeds on top of the soil spaced 2 to 3 inches apart. Then gently sprinkle with potting mix, making sure it is covered no more than a ¼ inch. Do not press them down. Water the soil with a spray bottle. During the growing period, use weak liquid fertilizer weekly. Basil requires 5-6 hours of direct light or 10 hours if you use artificial light.  Once flower buds appear, pinch off the flower heads to stimulate leaf growth and flavor forming to prevent that basil tastes bitter.
