Basil Herb Seeds- Purple Dark Opal 200+ Seeds-

This beautiful purple basil grows vigorously and makes an excellent container plant. The flavor is quite strong, relatively sweet, and makes a lovely addition to any dish that uses basil. Add it to vinegar and it imparts a purple tinge. I have found it to be great in pesto as it does not lose it's purple color when crushed. Flowers are lilac in color and sit atop red stems. It makes a great bedding or border plant. 8-10" in height when mature.
