Cut
Ensure that your avocado is ripe by pressing onthe skin - the avocado should slightly give with pressure. Using a sharp knife,slice your avocado in half, lengthwise.
Remove the Pits
Place the cutter pointed end around the pit.
With a gentle motion remove the pit. ( !! Don'tthrow away the pit - it can help prevent your guacamole from turning brown)
Take out the Fruit Flesh
Position the slicer over the larger end of theavocado. With light pressure, insert the slicer into the fruit and pull towardsyou, slicing through and scooping the fruit from theskin.

Tips:
1?Cant tell if your avocado is ripe? Take the small brown stemoff the top of the avocado. If it comes off easily and you can see golden, underneaththe stem, the avocado is ripe! If the stem doesn't come off or if you seegreen, the avocado is not ripe.
2?Put avocado in a paper bag with a banana, the ethylene gasfrom the banana will help speed up the ripening process.
