The Audubon Squirrel-Resistant Ladybug Tube Feeder encases a tube feeder in a spring loaded cage , foiling squirrels from accessing seed. Squirrels land on perches and their weight causes the spring loaded cage to slide down thus closing access to seed. Large capacity holds up to 2.5 lbs. of mixed seed and internal stainless steel seed diverter keeps seed flowing to the birds. 4 ports enable a number of birds to dine simultaneously while the clear polypropylene tube allows for easy seed monitoring. The Twist-Lock lid lifts open for quick filling and cleaning and the E-Z Clean with quick release bottom allows you to disassemble and clean the unit thoroughly - no tools required. The addition of a weather proof rubber grommet in lid keeps rain out. 1.5" grid cage with extra clearance between tube and cage prevents debris from blocking ports Metal ports prevent squirrels from chewing.
