Aker Fassi is a traditional Moroccan handmade lip and cheek stain, made using dried poppy petals and pomegranate rinds sunbaked in a terra-cotta pot. It is the same ancient recipe as the one North African women have been using for centuries. All you need is a drop of water/oil for results. SKIN CARE AND MAKEUP IN ONE: Red poppy flower petals contain antioxidant, moisturizing, soothing and anti-wrinkle properties (from naturally occurring flavonoids, alkaloids and anthocyanins). FOR A PERFECT APPLICATION: The aker fassi is best used as a stain rather than a lipstick. To stain lips, get a wet q-tip and dip into the pot to pickup the pigment. Apply a few coats to lips and leave for a few minutes. After staining lips, wipe away excess pigment and apply moisturizer for a glossy red lip.
