Army Signal Branch Insignia Enlisted with US Insignia

The Enlisted Signal Corps insignia was approved in 1984 and has been hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. The Signal Corps insignia is two crossed signal flags with a flaming torch of gold. The "crossed flags" have been used by the Signal Corps since 1868, when they were prescribed for wear on the uniform coat by enlisted men of the Signal Corps. The flags and torch are symbolic of signaling or communication. The enlisted Signal Corps insignia is two gold disks, one with the Signal Corps insignia and the other disk with the superimposed 'U.S.'. Each of the included items is 100% USA Made, measures approximately 1 inch in diameter, and comes with two pins on the back.
