How to get a good connection of the hose and fittings?
1?Disassemble the fitting first and slide the sleeve over the end of the braided hose
2?With the hose end fully seated in the sleeve,Push the other side of the fitting into the hose and sleeve while turning to make sure the threads insert the hose
3?Using the Aluminum AN adjustable wrench to protect the finish,continue screwing the fitting together until it is completely assembled
An adjustable AN wrench is highly recommended
A quick and easy tip for cut hose without destroying the steel braid:
Wrap duct tape tightly at the cut off area and cut through the center of the wrapped up tape rotating the hose during the cut!! before you unwrap the 1/2 tape use a belt sander or Belt grinder (hard wheel bench grinder may work too) to deburr the edge of the hose grinding it away from the hose itself
