Philodendron Moonlight is a hybrid tropical variety of philodendron with striking light lime green or chartreuse new growth. Unlike most Philodendron they grow more like a shrub than a vine and can grow quite large to around 20-24" tall and 20-26" wide. Its foliage tends to get coarser with age and its leaves become more prominently ribbed. The Moonlight occasionally produces white flowers with pink and red hues that can last up to four weeks. Extreme temperature changes and rough handling during shipping can be tough on living plants and they may need some TLC when they arrive. Gently wipe the leaves with a damp cloth, check the soil for moisture, and place the plant inside in an area with plenty of indirect sunlight. Allow the plant to acclimate to its new home and do not overwater. Overwatering is one of the most common problems with plant care. The Philodendron does not like to sit in water and the top couple of inches of soil should be dry before you water it. We are unable to ship this plant to California due to restrictions by the California Department of Agriculture. If you have pets who are plant chewers please be aware that this plant can be moderately toxic to cats and dogs.
