American Educational Seismograph Model

The American Educational Seismograph Model demonstrates the measurement of seismic waves generated by earthquakes by using a stylus and paper roll to record the intensity of simulated earthquakes. This tabletop unit measures 12' wide and 9' high when assembled. Seismograph models are used in educational settings to complement the study of earthquakes and to introduce seismology and the Richter scale.
