American Educational Planet Walk

Grade 3-6 students with this accurate scale model of our solar system. Your students can see how empty the solar system truly is when they see the size of the planets at the same scale as their spacing. The kit comes complete with two sets of large planet cards. One scaled for use on a basketball court and the other for a football field. Also included is a teacher's guide filled with interesting information and awesome astronomical activities. Using the provided resources, the instructor is able to provide enough information and comparisons to every day items to fill an entire class period and ignite excitement for future lessons. The elementary student will appreciate the visual display the model provides and high school students will present their own fact filled research and will not require much guidance from the teacher. Planet walk teacher's guide also refers to the four minor planets which many other astronomy products do not. Complete assembly and set up instructions included. One set of planet cards for set up in a gymnasium (86' required) and one set of cards for set up on a football field (424' required). The teacher's guide takes the teacher on a tour of the solar system, plus a glossary, all which are included in the 56 page spiral bound, full-color guide.
