Echinodorus bleheri is commonly known as the'Amazon Sword' and has been very popular in the fish keeping hobby for many years and certainly the most popular sword we have on sale. The leaves are broad and can be straight. One plant can consist of up to 30 leaves and can reach 50cm in height. Echinodorus bleheri is therefore ideally placed in the rear sections of the aquarium as a background plant. The leaves are sturdy and can vary from light to dark green colours. The sturdy leaves mean it's ideal for larger fish keeping or one's who like to nibble on plants. As one of the hardiest plants around, it makes a perfect beginner plant or for larger aquariums.
