It is gentle, safe, and enhances the freshwater environment. Contains sodium, POTASSIUM, magnesium, and other bicarbonate salts. Directions: use 1 level measure (enclosed) to every 4?L (1 gallon*) daily until desired pH is reached (this dose will raise alkalinity by about 0.5 meq/L (1.4 dKH). if water is soft or not well buffered, use with acid buffer?
