This Alemite 1698-B straight hydraulic fitting has an overall length of 1-1/8" and a shank length of 25/32" with a hex size 5/16" and a 1/4" SAE-LT 28 taper thread end. The trivalent zinc plating gives it durability and makes it resistance to corrosion, exceeding a 72-hour salt spray test. The fitting is straight and has no angle to it. Its 1/4" SAE-LT 28 taper threading is for use on most cars and trucks and many industrial machines, and it has a check ball to keep dirt out.
