This quarter coin keychain was made from an authentic U.S State quarter coin. This Alabama quarter features a prominent figure in Alabama's history and is dated 2003. The quarter has a wonderfully detailed image of Helen Keller with her name in English, and in a reduced-size version of braille. The Alabama quarter is the first U.S. circulating coin to feature braille. An Alabama long leaf pine branch and magnolias grace the sides of the design, and a "Spirit of Courage" banner underlines the central image. After I drilled the coin, I cleaned and polished the quarter. Notice that the coin has been domed to add interest. The circulated, domed quarter is 15/16 inch (24mm) in diameter and in excellent condition. It is wire wrapped with sturdy silver-plated wire from a 1 inch (26mm) diameter metal key ring It hangs 1 1/2 inches (38mm) from a metal key ring. The total length is 2 3/8 inches (60mm). If you are interested in other states or parks, send me a message as I might have the quarter you are looking for. Search 'Hendywood keychains' for more coin key rings.
