- Based on ESP8266 WiFi IC, this is a new version of ESP-12S (upgraded from ESP-12F/ESP-12E). This has an improved peripheral circuit and impedance matching and offers better radio performance over the ESP-12F.
- ESP-12S has a highly competitive package size and ultra-low power technology.
- ESP-12S can be widely used in a variety of networking, for home automation, industrial wireless control, baby monitors, wearable electronic products, wireless location sensing devices, wireless positioning system signals and other networking applications.

Note:
- This module requires a 3.3 volt supply for VCC, and 3.3V logic. It is not 5V tolerant. Connect RX or TX on 5V Arduino will destroy this module. You must use a logic level converter, or a 3.3V Arduino.
- The 3.3V supply on the Arduino Uno has inadequate current capability to power this module. You must provide a separate, higher 3.3V supply(about 300mA or better).
