This breakout board provides a convenient way to start using the popular MQ-3, an Alcohol and Benzene Gas Sensor Module. The MQ-3 detects the concentrations of the target gas in the air and outputs a corresponding analog voltage. The MQ-3 is highly sensitive to Alcohol gas with a small sensitivity to alcohol and smoke (Carbon Monoxide (CO)) as well. It can be used in detecting equipments for gas leakages inside the home or industry. Although the sensor works great, please use certified equipment for reliable detection of gas leakages. Our design includes a protection resistor, as well as an adjustable one for tuning the sensitivity. The resistance of the sensitive component inside the MQ-5 varies as the concentration of the target gas changes. It features fast response, high sensitivity, and a wide range of detection. It can measure concentrations of flammable gas of 300 to 10,000ppm. This breakout board makes it easy to connect this sensor to your microcontroller board or single-board computer such as Arduino, ESP8266, BeagleBone or Raspberry Pi! Features: Power Supply: 5VDC This breakout PCB facilitates using the MQ-5 sensor, specially on solderless breadboards! Sturdy (1.6mm), blue PCB with a 4-pin header on on side (VCC, GND, A0, and D0) 4-Pin header included (no soldering needed!)
