This breakout board provides a convenient way to start using the popular MiCS5524, a CO, Alcohol and VOC Gas Sensor Module. The MiCS5524 detects the concentrations of gases in the air and outputs a corresponding analog voltage. The MiCS5524 is sensitive to CO (1~1000ppm), Ammonia (1~500ppm), Ethanol (10~500ppm), H2 (1~1000ppm), and Methane/Propane/Iso-Butane (>1,000ppm). However, it can't tell you which gas it has detected. Although the sensor works great, it should not be used for any safety, medical or finished product usage. All gas sensors require calibration for precision output. The way the sensor works is by changes in its internal resistance, which is designed to be sensitive to changes in concentration of the target gases. The sensor features fast response, high sensitivity, and a wide range of detection. This breakout board makes it easy to connect this sensor to your microcontroller board or single-board computer such as Arduino, ESP8266, BeagleBone or Raspberry Pi! Features: Power Supply: 5VDC This breakout PCB facilitates using the MiCS5524 sensor, specially on solderless breadboards! Sturdy (1.6mm), blue PCB with a 4-pin header on on side (VCC, GND, A0, and EN) 4-Pin header included, but soldering is required!
