This breakout board provides a convenient way to start using the popular ESP-01 module, the original breakout board for the ESP8266. Even though the ESP-01 module includes a set of 0.1in-spaced female pins meant for use on a solderless breadboard, the 2x4 arrangement makes it difficult to do so. With this breakout board you can straddle the standard center divider of a breadboard, and connect an ESP-01 on top without shorting any pins! The clear labels for each pin also makes life easier using the ESP-01 module. This board allows you to connect your ESP-01 to a USB-to-Serial UART programmer (e,g., CP2102, ch340g) very easily. It allows you to use the GPIO to connect sensors, servos, and any other component you wish to control with the ESP8266!
