These mounting brackets are a necessary addition to the fantastic N20 Micro Metal Gear Motors. They fit the motors snugly, and have a hole on each side for 2-56 screws (loose fit). The cutout for the holes have a hexagonal shape to capture the included nut and hold them in place. This compact bracket allows convenient mounting of our popular, Sanyo-style micro metal gearmotors. The black plastic bracket encloses the otherwise exposed gears, and its mounting tabs capture the nuts for easy installation. These plastic mounting brackets allow you to easily and securely mount the ubiquitous 10×12×26mm metal gearhead motors. The motors produce a very strong torque while moving at a relatively fast speed under load. This makes them perfect for use in a wheeled robot, as they offer a great compromise between torque and speed. The brackets are sold as a 2-pack, and each bracket includes with two #2-56×7/16" screws and two nuts (totaling 8 each).
