Acacia Mangium Black wattle Brown Salwood Hickory Wattle White Teak or Mangium Tree Seeds Acacia Mangium is hardwood species famous for its growth rates and density. Acacia is capable of reaching maturity in less than 10 years in ideal growing conditions. The tree is even grow well in barren dry landscapes with out any special care. Acacia has been used for decades and Common names are White Teak, Brown Salwood or Hickory Wattle. The trees are known for their straight trunks, which grow up to 30 m (98 ft) within 12 years in ideal growing conditions. The Acacia with deep rooting systems not only grows rapidly, stopping erosion but actually assists in fixing nitrogen levels. With rapid growth come accelerated carbon absorption rates.
