A Farewell To Arms Slim Case

Classic Black & White Adapted from a story by Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms tells the story of Frederick Henry (Gary Cooper), a WWI lieutenant who meets and falls in love with Catherine Barkley, a English nurse (Helen Hayes). Jealous of his relationship with Catherine, Frederick's friend Major Rinaldi (Adolphe Menjou) tries to come between them and arranges to have Catherine shipped off to Milan. Circumstances bring the former lovers together once again however, only to result in more heartbreak when Rinaldi conspires to keep the truth about Frederick's feelings from Catherine. Will love prevail, or is their romance destined for tragic results?
