Easy to program the 977LM keyless entry keypad
The learn button on the motor unit should be orange or red with 390 MHz frequency, or it will not work.
Step 1. Press and hold the * and the # buttons until you hear a sound of beep~ on the keypad or the lights on the keypad stop blinking.
Step 2. Enter a 4 digit PIN number (any 4 digits) Then press the # button.
Step 3. Press and release the Enter button 2 times.
Step 4. Press the 0 buttons to complete the programming.
Step 5. Press and release the orange or red learn button on your garage door opener. The Learn LED light will light up.
Step 6. Then within 30 seconds, press the 4 PIN number (the 4-digit number is the same as in the step 2), and then press and release the Enter button until you hear 2 clicks or the light will flash on your garage door opener.
Step 7. To Test, Press the learn button on the garage door opener. Press the new PIN, then press the Enter button. The garage door opener will activate.
4 Steps to Change an Existing PIN
Step 1: Press the programmed PIN that you want to change.
Step 2: Press and hold the # button until the light bulb blinks twice.
Step 3: Enter the new 4-digit PIN of you want to set , then press the ENTER button.
The light bulb will blink once.
Step 4: To test, Press the learn button on garage door opener. Press the new PIN, then the ENTER button. The garage door opener will activate.
