How to Grow:
TO PLANT OUTDOORS
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil under warm weather and all danger of frost is past. Sow seeds into soil 1/2 inch deep and 4 - 5 in apart. Each row of seeding must be at least 4 - 5 in. Cover and press soil over seeds firmly, keep it moist until the seeds is germinated in 10 to 14 days. Best results will come with soaking the planting soil thoroughly and keeping consistent moisture for 4-6 weeks. Afterwards, watering can be reduced gradually over several weeks.
TO START EARLY INDOORS
The best time to start indoors is early February to plant out in March to April. Sowing wildflowers in a seed tray or plug modules to plant out later. You should use peat-free, multi-purpose compost and cover the seeds with the thin layer dusting of compost. Keep them in light spots without direct sunlight and keeping moist for the compost. Transplant the seedlings outdoors once the danger of frost has completely subsided.
GROWING TIPS
You should protect seedlings from hungry birds by netting or plastic baskets, removing the net before plants get crowded. Avoid grass growing by sowing yellow rattle that feeds on grasses and reduces their vigour, helping wildflowers to thrive.
