Recommended rinse time before first use:
Rinse the Activated Carbon Filters with clean water for 5 minutes.
Rinse the RO Membrane Element with clean water for 24 hours to meet NSF/ANSI 58 Standard.
Flush the 1/4" Quick-Connect Post Carbon Inline Filter and drain 2-3 gallons of water.
The first full tank of permeate must be discarded.
