Sold in white boxes under the counter in adult bookstores or by shady peddlers, 8mm loops came in B&W and color, with per loop prices ranging from $20 to $100...and that s 60s and 70s money! Later the loops would be labeled with names like Pretty Girls, Golden Girls, etc., but most had lost their titles after repeated playing when the film would get worn and simply break off. Not too concerned with plot, most would get right down to the action after a brief introduction of themes such as Doctor/patient, boss/secretary, hitchhikers being picked up, etc. (not to mention the darker plots showcasing hardcore S&M, bondage and other twisted stuff!).
