Please check if the inside ballast is inductive ballast or electronic ballast; 2. If it is inductive ballast, you can use this LED lamp directly, just plug and play. 3. If it is electronic ballast, the led driver can not work compatibly, so you have to bypass the electronic ballast(cut off the transformer). Otherwise the LED Lamp witll get flicking, burnt, smell, damaged.
How to bypass the ballast? 1. Turn Off the Power. 2. Find the Ballast. Usually it is embeded inside the ceiling fixture. Pls pull off the existing PL lamp, reflector. Leave wire in junction box. and find the ballast. 3. Normally, the Ballast has a black and white wire on the input side. It also has two red and two blue output wires. To bypass this ballast, please cut all the Input and output wires, so total 6 wires cut. 4. Then,connect two red wires to black wire. connect two blue wires to white wire. ballast bypassed!
