About Hermit Crabs:
1. Hermit crabs often eat shells and molluscs, and take other their shells as their own. This is the origin of the hermit crab's name.
2.Hermit crabs mainly use snail shells as their parasites, and their appearance is between shrimp and crabs, and most of them live in snail shells.
3.Generally the hermit crabs body is asymmetrical from left to right, and the abdomen is soft, which can be curled in the snail shell.
4.Usually Hermit crabs crawl on the seashore or in shallow water, if in danger, retract into the shell and plug the screw mouth with chelated feet.
5.Since hermit crabs are omnivorous animals, they can eat everything from algae, food residues to parasites. For family fish lovers, putting one or two hermit crabs in the aquarium will act as a cleaner.
